One Shot Rising 

One Shot, Is there a Part 2 to this video ? I want to see how it's used properly.  AB MicroLogix

No there is only one video on the OSR instruction (which by the way is the same instruction as the ONS).  The OSR video is over 15 minutes long and I think covers the instruction completely.  If you have a specific question on this post it in the AB section below and we can answer it there.

OK I just noticed the micrologix reference above.  Possibly the confustion is because the micrologix has a ONS, OSR, and OSF.  Really a waste of instructions.  The OSR and ONS are the same thing.  Work exactly the same.  I have no idea why they need two instructions that operate the same.  As for the OSF, I see no reason for it.  Anything you need to do can be done with the OSR/ONS.  The OSR and ONS work on the rising edge of the input (0 to 1) and the OSF works on the falling edge of the input to the instruction (1 to 0).  I would suggest using the OSR to maintain compatibility with the SLC platform and forget the OSF.  There is nothing the OSF can do that you cant do with the OSR.
