Currently I am unemployed and keeping all options open.
I do like what I have seen so far. Yes.. like everything in life there are a few rough spots.
The Instruction does assume the students level of profiency and by all means should be viewed in the logical progression. There are points in the Instruction that move to rapidly and I have had to stop/review in several places.....but thats the beauty of this.
I am a electrician and have assisted engineers Commision the Installation. I know enough information to be dangerous. I am looking to be able to negotiate RS Logix and be able to test and make changes at the level of Technician first and work towards Programmer.
I would concider paying for this Instruction if it included testing and some sort of Certificate of Completion.
Just for general information I will lead you to a training site to review...www.sea.siemens.com/step
I appreciate the comments and have taken some time to look at the siemens site you mentioned. I also agree there are rough spots with our system. Frankly I dont ever intend to focus on a glossy massive production. I intend to provide good information at a reasonable price. I want to produce real automation specialists not just offer training for the sake of training. Your comments on the the courses we are planning are especially useful. I do plan on offering a Certificate of completion for each of our courses, testing and most importantly lab assignments. I do not plan on offering courses for college credit. I am looking to provide simple, useful, and affordable training. Thanks again for your comments.
