I was wondering how would I attach a pdf file here so you could see the ladder logic that I wrote?
Thanks-

Okay so I figured something out. Go to this web site address: http://www.direct-internet-sales.com/
and you'll be able to see what I have programmed so far.
It's not much (that's for sure), but it's a start - I read through the AB instruction set manual (about ascii commands)(and about ACN, ACI).
Don't really know what I'm do'in - but take a look and I'd be happy to her your feedback.
Thank you,
Well ouch... I knew that this forum module had the capablility to post files. I did not know that the way it did it was close to useless... In the future, just send your files to the support@plcmentor.com address, and I will get it. You can post info about what you sent here and that will help me zero in on what you are sending and give me a heads up. What you did worked.
Looks like you have the right idea. I am not sure what I:2/0 is doing. You could remove that and just have the AIC the only thing on the rung. You need to rethink the ACN some. Did you run it to see what the results were? I would expect ST10:0 to have "5221" in it. I would suspect you would want your final string to look like this: "12:21:52" Take a look at what you have and work your way toward that. I will give you a hint that you need another string value to concatenate ( ":" ). Finally, I wouldnt spend too much time with the AB manual. Just insert the instruction in your program, put your cursor on it and press F1. Usually all you need to use an instruction.
Send me the .RSS via the email on your next pass. That's much easier to get a full picture.

Ok looks great! All you need to do is an extra couple of concatenates of the ":"
I went ahead and made a couple videos covering these two instructions. I used your clock as an example and I show how to insert the ":"
Hope they help. I should have them up tonight in the instruction area. Just go to the last page of instructions or use the tag cloud.
