Welcome Me!

Graphics in Wonderware InTouch 10.0?

How do I get to the new graphics in Intouch 10?  I've installed it, but I don't see ANYWHERE that I can import or embed the new graphics that are offered on the web site.  All I have is the original symbol factory that I've always had, and I don't see anything new within it.

Thanks ahead,

Kling

Re: Graphics in Wonderware InTouch 10.0?

That's a good question

To access what is now commonly called 'Archestra graphics' in the InTouch world, you have to install the Archestra 'IDE', or Integrated Development Environment first, or have a connection/access to a server that has it installed, along with an account.  An a prerequisite for installing Archestra IDE is that you have Windows SQL Server 2005 SP2 or later installed.  Once you have it installed, you wil have an icon next to the 'Symbol Wizard' that is called 'Embed Archestra Graphics' when moused-over.   Wonderware is trying to change users over from using the 'InTouch Application Manager' to Archestra IDE to manage their projects, and the Archestra graphics are an 'incentive'.  Also, the graphics use a SQL database to store custom changes to the graphics, to be used my multiple users in different projects.

Hope this helps!
