Hi! I want to notify our users that the PLCMentor.com online training site will be down for about an hour today for scheduled maintenance. We need to make several required upgrades to the core software of the site to insure that the security and the operation of the site is up to date. The site only needs to be down for part of the upgrade process so it may actually be up after only a few minutes. If my time doing startups has taught me anything, it’s to plan for the worst and then your surprises will always be good ones!

For our Stage 3 Web Classroom subscribers, the recorded class will be up as soon as the site maintenance is complete. I am sure you will find this last class full of good information. We spent the class dissecting a program that I almost wonder if it was designed to show people how NOT to program a PLC (unfortunately it was not). We spent an hour and 15 minutes working to fix problems with program organization, documentation and – most importantly – operation.
