I think it’s important to clarify a few things about our site and the training.
First I have had several questions about the stages. You can think of the stages as different levels of support. Stage 1 is the lowest level and Stage 3 is the most comprehensive. What they are not is training levels. If you are new you can start at Stage 3 or Stage 1. Let me review what is included in the stages:
Stage 1: Video library only.
Stage 2: Self paced training. Video library is used as part of the virtual classroom, but the best part of this stage is the coursework is now available and there are programs to complete (yes, homework).
Stage 3: Includes the self paced training PLUS the weekly online web class. This is what I wish everyone could do. The online class allows students to ask questions about the courses or about other automation issues that may come up in their workplace.
IMPORTANT: To achieve anything from this training (or any PLC training) you must DO. Do the programs. That is where the real learning and ability comes from. We added the capability for Stage 2 subscribers to email their completed programs and Stage 3 can email or discuss them in class. Do the programs! In fact I will emphasize this by saying don’t subscribe if you are not going to do the programs. I really do want people to learn not just subscribe.
Questions? Post them on the forum. You use the contact page, but why not allow everyone to benefit from your question and the answer?
Finally thank you all for visiting the site. I can’t believe the number of users we currently have. I also appreciate all the kind comments from those of you that have benefitted from the site.
