sorry i didnt see your post down here in the video comments.  I will move it up to the scada questions after you get a chance to look at the answer.

You add a symbol factory object by from your wizards dialog.  should be able to find this in one of the videos.  You can make things easier by enabling your wizards toolbar.  do this by selecting View and make sure the wizards/Activex toolbar is selected.  Once your toolbar is enabled, the wizards button looks like a ... well a wizards hat.  Click on that and one of the items in the list is symbol factory.  Select that and click on your open window to insert the object like you would with the other wizards avaialable.  Once you click you will get the symbol factory dialog after which you will be able to select something from the symbol factory library.
