the term PLC stands for "Proportional Integral Derivative". PLC is one of the most widely used pieces of control an automation technology. PLC still requires inputs and outputs to receive information from the process and send signals back to control it.

hey,

PID stands for Proportional, Integral and Derivative control.it is basically a control loop feedback mechanism which is widely use in industrial control system. The PID algorithm restores the actual speed to the desired speed in the optimum way,without delay or over shoot.
